Bio:
I'm a transplant from Solon, and then Lyndhurst, Ohio. At Bowling Green State University, my major was Music Education. I came to the KC area and played music (mainly jazz) while pursuing math and computer certification. For 14 years, I taught math and computer courses at Louisburg High School, Kansas. This is now my 13th year at ONW. Baker University awarded me a Master's of Liberal Arts degree a few years ago.I'm married to a wonderful woman who is a sign language interpreter and teacher at Kansas School for the Deaf, and have two girls who are 22 and 23. Until a few years ago I played drums occasionally in a classic rock band on the weekends, and I still play at church. I enjoy working outside, gardening, hiking, photography, and our many pets. Myers-Briggs considers me an ISTJ, which is right on in many ways. When working with others, I am typically a quiet, analytical, loyal, behind-the-scenes worker-bee. When I'm not talking, I'm usually listening or thinking -- if I have something important to say, I will say it. I'm kind of like an Ent this way.
