Your weekend "homework"

"Just be creative!"

Yeah, right!  For most of us, it's not that easy.  Here's some good news, though:

We tend to think of creativity as something that we either have, or we don't.  That's a myth! We all have the capability to be creative - it's just that we have not always nurtured or encouraged that side of ourselves.

Take time to turn things over in your mind.
There is lots of research on creativity. Creativity needs a certain amount of background knowledge, experience, or skill.

After your brain has these seeds to get it started, it then needs time to simmer those ingredients on your subconscious back burner while you are doing other things.

This is why something you were trying to think of earlier will suddenly come to you when you are relaxing, taking a shower, and so on.  Aha!
